The President of the All-Poland Federation of SMEs Tomasz Szypuła commented on the issue:

• – Everyone swears that they do not want to increase taxes, while they are increasing themselves. Continuing to calculate Social Security contributions on the basis of the minimum wage and the average salary in the national economy will sooner or later lead to disaster. Changes are needed! Someone needs to finally address this.
  If the SME Ombudsman is asleep – then please, I appeal and encourage you to report to me your demands and ideas on how to change the regulations that determine the amount of ZUS contribution in our country.
  As a warning to all those who have no problem saying how close to their hearts small and medium-sized entrepreneurs are – I’m talking about politicians, of course – I want to make it clear that more and more SME companies are failing or going out of business.
  Real action is needed! For the government and other decision-makers, this is no longer the first bellwether. Soon it may be that, just like in the theater, there will be a third bell and the lights will go out.
