Re_Open UK Program – Support for Companies That Suffered Losses Due to Brexit.
Businesses registered in Poland, whose operations were based on cooperation with the United Kingdom, can receive substantial support through the Re_Open UK Program.
Over PLN 500 million has been allocated to mitigate losses related to the UK’s exit from the European Union. The program is nationwide and is aimed at companies registered and operating in Poland, including both SMEs and large enterprises. Applications for funding are accepted on a rolling basis, and a link to the application generator is available on the program’s website: www.reopen.biz. www.reopen.biz.
To ensure that as many entrepreneurs as possible can benefit from the program, an informational campaign is being conducted across the country. This includes both in-person meetings and webinars. Thanks to this initiative, all interested parties can familiarize themselves with the program’s objectives, the rules for obtaining funds, and receive answers to key questions.
Types of activities eligible for funding:
- New Export Markets – Funding for participation in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and business missions (costs of rental, booth construction, per diems, business travel expenses, and costs of business missions).
- Re_Investment Restart – Funding for investments supporting new directions of business development (costs of purchasing fixed assets, intangible assets, and legal rights, as well as construction works).
- Adaptation to Change Action – Costs of adapting the company to new market conditions resulting from Brexit (costs of purchasing fixed assets, intangible assets, legal rights, consulting services, and training).
- Brexit Without Losses – Funding for costs already incurred from January 1, 2020, until the date of the funding application (cost categories as in types 1, 2, and 3).
The first three types of projects can be combined, offering a broad range of support for entrepreneurs – from trade fair participation to investments in fixed assets, intangible assets, and legal rights, as well as the development of strategies and new business models. All these activities aim to help businesses adapt to new market conditions.
